Magazine Marketing Company Holdings Ltd Acquires Odyssey Publisher Services Holdings Ltd

Magazine Marketing Company Holdings Ltd is delighted to announce the acquisition of Odyssey Publisher Services Holdings Ltd with effect from today, 1st May 2009.

Odyssey Publisher Services Ltd was set up in 1999 and has since established itself as a key distributor of specialist magazines and collectable products through the newstrade, both in the UK and overseas. Odyssey boasts a diverse portfolio of magazines and collectable brands creating a valued and complimentary addition to the existing MMC business. The process of merging the two businesses will commence with immediate effect.

Managing Director of Odyssey, Kelvin Taverner will continue to provide consultancy expertise to MMC. Finance Director Jolanta Recchioni will assist the transition of its financial management for a short period of time, and will then leave the company. Client Services Director Richard Hotchkiss and Business Development Director Richard Heath, will both join the management team at MMC. David Christie will retire from his role as Chairman of Odyssey.
